CELEBRATING 40 YEARS OF FULL TIME MINISTRY IN MAY 2024
The Sharps, a Southern Gospel Quartet, was organized some 40 years ago with the goal of ministering to the Troubled and the Lost, about our savior, “Jesus Christ”. Knowing, that we through our own efforts are nothing, but directed and guided by “The Holy Spirit” we can accomplish ALL things.
The Sharps, are a blessed group that sing his praises wherever He leads, at concerts, church homecomings/regular singings, outdoor events, television programs, and benefits as needed. The group has over 30 recordings to their credit and have released 10 singles nationally since 2016 that have been received very well by char_ng in the Singing News Top 80 national charts. Songs such as “ENDLESS DAY”, “UPON THIS SOLID ROCK”, “LOVE IS GONNA WIN”, “STANDING IN THE STORM”, “WORTH IT ALL”, and recently “MY HOME IN HEAVEN”. NEW singles will be released na_onally over the next several months from our upcoming project, with the first NEW single
“POURIN’ HONEY”.
The group is home based in Fort Payne, Al., traveling mainly a five-state area in the Southeast, averaging some 75-100 bookings per year.
The group members are as follows: Andy Sharp – sings lead; Ben Sharp – sings baritone; David Holt – sings tenor; Tony Lewis – sings bass;
Jason Brown – manages sound.
