MIKE LEATH

LEAD VOCALS | 64 YEARS OLD

Mike grew up in Fort Payne, Alabama and was born into the same home church as Andy and the Sharp Family. His first time to step on a Southern Gospel stage was around 1973. For years, he played bass and sang with a family group. In the early 2000's he had a small solo ministry and sang at churches when requested. But in 2007, Joel came to Mike and asked him if he would mind filling in for him due to health problems. With a reply of - "Joel, let me pray about it". 15 years later, Mike has become known for his distinct lead vocals and for the way the spirit moves through him while he sings. With his strong vocal, he is the core of the quartet's powerful vocals.
